2-Day Advanced Training in Elder Mediation
Lansing Mich.State Bar of Michigan, Michael Franck Building, 306 Townsend St.
This training focuses on Adult Guardianship and Family Caregiver Mediation. Learn the differences between other types of mediation and elder mediation. In this training, we will focus on the mediator's responsibility toward inclusion of the older person's voice in the mediation and techniques for working in multiparty family mediations. At the conclusion of the training, you will be prepared to organize and perform elder mediations. Zena Zumeta and Susan Butterwick are the trainers for this class. The cost is $425. Discounted rate of $395 if registration received prior to August 23, 2010. 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days. Registration and continental breakfast on September 20, 8:30-9:00.

At the conclusion of the training, you will be prepared to organize and perform elder mediations. Zena Zumeta and Susan Butterwick are the trainers for this class. The cost is $525. Discounted rate of $495 if registration received prior to October 18, 2010. 12 MCLE credits approved. There will be an additional $15 charge for MCLE credits. Social Work CEU's available. 4 Professionalism Credits approved. 4-8 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
